DESIGNATION: Rioja Qualified Designation of Origin.
VARIETIES: 100% Tempranillo.
VINIFICATION: Eight days fermentation, 15 days maceration. Following malolactic fermentation, was transferred to American and French oak casks, where it remained for 18 months, with 6-monthly racking.
AROMA: Elegant and potent in the nose, with vanilla pod and spice aromas, amongst which cinnamon can be clearly distinguished.
COLOUR: Well-covered bigarreau cherry.
FLAVOUR: Very flavoursome, aromatic and potent with tannins that will develop further if given more time. Good acidity and long finish where the sensations in the nose go on repeating.
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 15-17 ºC
