D.O.Ca Rioja (Quality wine produced in Rioja)

VINIFICATION
The grapes to elaborate this wine were carefully selected from our best vines and hand-picked into 15 kg crates. After gentle destemming and without crushing, the berries were moved by gravity to the fermentation tanks where they remain macerating for 25 days. After the vinification was completed the wine underwent malolactic fermentation.
The wine was aged in American and French barrels for 24 months, before it is fining with fresh egg whites. The wine was bottled on January 2009 and aged for another 40 months.
TASTING NOTES
Colour: Cherry- ruby with brick red lights
Aroma: Fine bouquet of sweet spices and jammy fruit with slight hints of reduction, with a base of fine toasted oak in balance with the wine.
Flavour: On the palate it is round and smooth with a nice touch of acidity. Fine toasted oak nuances and soft, well polished tannins.
