DENOMINATION: Rioja Designation of Origin VARIETY: 85% Tempranillo VINIFICATION: The grapes used to produce this wine come from low yielding vineyards (max. 5500 Kg/ha) and they are collected in small 350 Kg boxes. Alcoholic fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 28°C in stainless steel tanks. After this initial fermentation, malolactic fermentation takes place. The wine is decanted into second-year American Oak barrels, where it remains for four months. AROMA: Of medium-high intensity with notes of ripe fruit and well-integrated wood. FLAVOUR: Refreshing and easy to drink with well-integrated tannins, with elegant and persistent acidity.
